This series is inspired by the little spirited goldfinches that are often seen in my backyard among the flowers.  Nothing paints a more vibrant image than a male goldfinch perched on a purple coneflower!  The Goldfinch sculpture is created with many polymer clay art techniques.  There is no painting involved.  All patterns, colors, and designs are made with polymer clay.  The Goldfinch series feature subtle translucent yellow daisies and roses in millefiori, lady bugs, and a black cap with fine silver tracings, punctuated in gold mica dots, or covered with sunflowers.
